Bournemouth Airport
Bournemouth Airport is the closest airport to Weymouth, the venue for sailing for the 2012 Olympics. Heronshaw House is the closest accommodation to Bournemouth Airport - need we say more?
Being so close naturally raises the spectre of noise. Amazingly, because the runway runs NE to SE [the "taxiway" under the red arrow is just that and only used to park the jumbo jets], there is almost no aircraft noise at all. You are in the country.
So there it is, a small and personal Country Hotel with Dining in the River Trout restaurant [24 covers] with easy close access to the Olympic Sailing at Weymouth.

Please note that single occupancy rates can be offered from November to March [Christmas Week, New Year Week, Easter and Mid Term Break excluded]. From April until October inclusive the full room rate applies regardless of occupancy. We have one single En-Suite Room available.
We normally require bookings to be a minimum of a 2 nights, however we do occasionally have 1 night slots to fill and would ask you to call us for this option.
We strongly recommend that insurance is taken out to cover all cancellation eventualities. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
We offer private parking to the side of the house and ask you to please note that your room will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival. We cannot guarantee access before this time.
